 Her unspoken air of confidence exuded from her. Not arrogant, not haughty, it was just pure sexy self-confidence.

She brought photos from 20 years earlier during her college days when she posed for an artist friend in some nature nudes.

 ”I was hoping to recreate these!” She enthusiastically announced to the photographer.

How many women had I known that wanted to recreate nude photos from 20 years ago in all of her post children glory?? Uh, yeah – ZERO!

“Let’s do a retro pin up girl kinda look” she suggested… I couldn’t wait to get some fabulous lashes on her and bring those eyes front and center.

She was breathtaking, gorgeous and dare I say it – - – HAPPY WITH HER BODY??

  Now listen- she’s in great shape, teaches crazy wild sweat-filled spin classes and has killer curves - but Oh MY.

How delicious to bask in her confidence.

I found her shameless self acceptance to be life changingly refreshing. I loved her and everything she was about instantly!

I have also featured a couple of pictures of the bridal parties.
Notice how the makeup complements the look of the wedding without drawing attention to one particular person except THE BRIDE! (of course!!)

This is intentional and is one of the reasons I highly recommend having your bridal party’s makeup done professionally.

There is continuity and symmetry. No glaringly obvious makeup faux pas. Your wedding day is not the day for surprises or one of your girls to stick out like a sore thumb.

Such a pleasure to take a peek into such an amazing time in their lives.

It is an exciting time at Kiss and Makeup!!

When I launched my business 8 years ago, it was a leap of faith.  It was built on the foundation of  a love for makeup artistry and reverence for a woman’s unique beauty.

Hard work, determination and staying the course even in the lean times has paid off.  I have more business than I can handle and it is time to expand!!!

Sexy, seductive and confident have found a home here.  This is a perfect example of makeup that screams SIREN without taking over.

This is a smoky eye with a twist of purple. Her gorgeous olive skin tone allowed me to bring in some color without overwhelming the look.

Keli reminds me of Princess Jasmine meets Sophia Loren. Isn’t she gorgeous?

Allow me to tell you about this wonderfully fresh, cherub-faced beauty.

Her unassuming nature and contagious laugh were the first things I noticed about her when we met  for her makeup trial at my house.

Her looks immediately conjure the gorgeousness of the past.   Her look beckons back to the days of peachy fresh, creamy skinned maidens.

Soft, muted, pretty and ethereal like the  late 18th century faces of Duchesses and Princesses. 

Rachel made a most exquisite,  lovely bride.  She was just as wonderful to work with as she was stunning!

 This makeup look is understated and natural. Notice that it photographs perfectly and looks as though she is barely wearing makeup.

I used false lashes fitted seamlessly to her eyes, played up her perfect skin and kept it all soft, soft, SOFT.

The blush looks like it’s naturally her pinky cheeks.  No bronzer for this girl. It’s all about creamy skin.

Her eyes were just smoky enough to bring them out but still looks pretty – not overdone.

 This is a great example of timeless, classic makeup.

The emphasis is on the eyes but the skin also looks luminous and glowing.  Soft and ethereal, Sarah was so pretty with her natural makeup and perfect skin.   Lashes look so feminine and perfect in pictures.
